We were able to meet up with our dear brother and sister and their family in Plattsburg, New York. We had a wonderful time of fellowship with the Stefanini Family. They met us in Plattsburg and we had dinner together. So much laughter. We then stayed in the same hotel so we could fellowship some more. Dan and John grew up together in Lovelock. Around 1984 he and Dan made their commitments to follow Christ about the same time. As we were getting ready to leave, John suggested that we cross the lake by boat to Vermont. It would save alot of travel time. So we left Plattsburg by ferry!! That's right by way of a boat!! It was amazing. They had no problem letting us on with our trailer. A semi even boarded when we did. It was a very neat. It was raining but we still wanted to go up on the deck of the boat. We were the first truck to get on. There were white caps from the wind and rain. It was so awesome. The trip was about 15 minutes. The kids were excited to watch us in the middle of Lake Champlain. We then headed south east on Hwy 2 in Vermont to the 89 towards Manchester, New Hampshire. We ended up staying there. Vermont and New Hamshire had many beautiful red, orange and yellow trees. Vermont had many, many american flags on the sides of the road. Hopefully today we will find a church to worship the Lord, make it to Maine, then head south. All of our family says hello and we miss everyone.
